At Hale, I facilitate and direct teambuilding and outdoor adventure/education programs for groups from schools, colleges, corporations, and more. I also manage Hale’s challenge courses, which include both low and high ropes elements.

Pre-Employment Experience

Before working at Hale, I facilitated for Project Adventure, was a Challenge Course Director for the YMCA, and was a Summer Camp Director for the YMCA.

You could apply to join our summer challenge course team or facilitate teambuilding programs in the spring and fall. We also have volunteer opportunities for folks to help prepare the challenge courses and grounds for programs.

Advice From A Leader

Work with as many different people and programs in the industry as you can. You’ll gain different perspectives and learn strategies to connect with students. As people’s needs change, so do the ways we connect with them, so it’s important to be open-minded and willing to learn.
